A Conversation on Refrigerants — Live Webinar From AHR Expo
As 2013 comes to a close, we’re busy planning for the next installment of our Making Sense webinar series in 2014. To kick off the new year, we’ll be revisiting the dynamic topic of refrigerants in a live broadcast from the show floor at the AHR Expo, January 21 at 2 p.m., booth #1031. I’m pleased to be joined by several of the industry’s most trusted thought leaders on the subject to participate in this important round-table discussion. Guests include:
- Barbara Minor, Senior Technical Fellow, DuPont Fluoroproducts
- Mark W. Spatz, Global Refrigerant Technology Leader, Honeywell’s Fluorine Products
- Brett Van Horn, PhD, Global Project Leader, R&D, Arkema, Inc.
This conversation will encompass a wide range of refrigerant topics — from refrigerants used today and in the future to making selections based on applications, regulatory issues, sustainability and maintenance. You’ll learn about new refrigerants being developed for retrofit and new applications that can help lower your stores’ carbon footprint. We’ll discuss ideas for minimizing refrigerant transition costs in the future in an uncertain regulatory climate. And, you’ll learn more about the latest low-GWP refrigerants, both synthetic and natural.
Our Making Sense webinar series was launched in 2013 to help refrigeration professionals stay informed of the latest trends and make sense of the issues that matter most. We’ve been thrilled with the level of engagement we’ve seen in our first four webinars, and we’re looking forward to bringing you more cutting-edge discussions in 2014. To date, we’ve explored the following topics:
- Fundamentals and Differences Between Mid-point and Dew Point
- Implementation of Low Condensing Refrigeration
- Using Compressor Electronics Data
- A Case for Case Controls and Electronic Expansion Valves
