Each year, Food Marketing Institute holds the Energy & Store Development Conference to showcase new products and thought leadership serving the food retail industry. I will attend the conference in Baltimore this weekend to learn more about energy efficiency and conservation, store design, merchandising, and other skills related to cost-saving solutions and customer satisfaction.
With an increasing focus on energy-efficient equipment and environmentally friendly systems, I look forward to leading a session aimed to help the supermarket and food service industries select appropriate choices among “greener” alternatives. My presentation will highlight new technologies, regulations and the latest trends and environmental updates as they affect the food retail industry. I will be speaking on Monday, September 9 at 10:45-11:45 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m. EDT.
